Beach Yoga Class Styles
There are many different styles of yoga and one of the best parts of doing private yoga classes on the beach is that you get to choose which style of yoga you want to do that will best fit your wants and needs.
Each style can be customized to fit exactly what you need, if you are dealing with an injury, have any underlying conditions, or and specific goals.
Hatha Flow
A Hatha Flow yoga class provides a pretty well-rounded practice. During this type of class, we use breath and mindfulness to move through the body, focusing on each part of the body, opening it up stretching and strengthening.
Hatha Flow is a great balance between Gentle and Vinyasa yoga.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is a nice and slow practice. We dive deep into opening up the body, especially the hips and back. We have a strong focus on breathing and relaxation in this class. The postures are held a little longer and your instructor is more hands-on.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a very slow and peaceful practice. We like to call Yin a moving meditation. Each gentle posture is held for 2-5 minutes each. During each hold, you get the time to really feel the body, open up the connective tissue, and have a mini-meditation session in each pose.
Aromatherapy and hands-on adjustments are an added bonus to yin yoga classes.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is a vigorous practice to help you work up a sweat and use your muscles in new ways. As with all of our yoga classes, mindfulness, and breath is woven throughout the practice.
This class is a great option for bachelorette parties, groups, and for those looking to do yoga as their only form of exercise.
